Dallas, Texas Maternity and Newborn Photography || MILLION REASONS TO PRINT YOUR ART WORK
Pregnancy and having a baby is one of the most beautiful phenomena of one's life, and everyone wants to keep these feelings in a treasure box that always takes them back to this lovely time. Somehow in today's world, photographs are that treasure box that acts as an asset to capture and record important events in life. Well-taken shots of the new family member are kept as keepsakes with the memories that last more extended time and strengthen the family bond. This is why even in today's busy life, some young families enjoy professional photography to capture pictures that remind them of their love and confirm their commitment to one another as responsible and caring family members.
As a picture communicates a thousand words, so printed photographs are also something we should consider. The moments when someone picks out their devices with joy and click the moment, they don't only click the moments, but they do capture the emotions in it too. Indeed, today we can review all those memories with just one click, but back in the days, we had to put effort into viewing those piles of photographs, and that effort provided a strong sense of sentiment and emotions. When you touch that album, you remember all the times you have held it before, maybe going as far back as your childhood. When you flip through the pages, it's almost as if you keep time at your fingertips; it's visceral and profound, something to protect and cherish. Alas! The mixture of happiness and sadness over-seeing the face of a loved one is now gone due to the digital photographs.
Most of us convince ourselves that we will print the photos soon someday, but we have seen that there is never that good time came. We are pretty occupied with our juggling work and busy schedule that it becomes difficult for us to take time for sorting photos and printing photos from the gazillion number of images stored in our phones. This situation is pretty understandable, but it also costs a lot to us. I have several clients who only keep "digital copies" on their computers and ask if we still keep them after many years as they have lost their images due to computer crashes or are not finding any floppy disk reader. Even some say that their computer is not supporting the CD reading anymore.
Printed photographs are a tangible means of remembering the golden times, and our children can enjoy these tangible things. They can hold the time at their fingertips, getting a sense of security, family, and warmth. Also, they become more convenient and accessible to our non-tech-grandparents. Even this is also true that these photographs are transferred from generation to generation as a heritage.
As a photographer, I capture moments and spend effort and hard work to make those captures memorable. Still, I feel spending a lot of time on these screens can make us cold toward our family, but these printed photographs can give us a good family time to live those moments with your family again by discussing that time and all behind the scenes of it. It unites us back to our roots and our expectations in life. Small things that we see in a photo, like that blanket we used to hug to sleep, remind us of even the atmosphere, feelings, and scents of that particular time in our lives.
We, humans, strived to be close to our loved ones and stay connected to them, and printed photographs are a suitable means. As with the fast-paced life, we get too preoccupied with our schedule, and we suffer the sight of our purposes in life and why we ingest what we do. Seldom when days are low, do we forget about how lucky we are to be where we are now. Some people set photo frames on their work-desks, some decorate the walls of their house, to tell them of who we are and the people who own made the person we are today and that even when we have distressing days, we will constantly have our family after us and in our hearts to drive us through in life.
